DANIEL VARUZHAN (Daniel Tchiboukkearian, 1884-1915) is a distinguished Armenian poet, literature and public activist pedagogue. Daniel Varuzhan studied at Mourad Raphaelian College (Venice, Italy), then at the University of Ghent (Belgium) The Varuzhan poetry stands out for great public content and perfect artistic patterns. His poems have marked a new era for the development of Western Armenian poetry, making the real life and human destiny a source of inspiration.
